How to Easily Eat Healthier

How many diets have you tried to follow? How often have you stuck with a diet before giving up? How often have you had success with any one particular diet? I dislike the word diet, we have been conditioned to think of two things immediately after we hear someone say they are on a diet. The two things are what type of diet are you on? and how long are you on the diet for?

Dieting implies that you are only eating in a particular way for a specified period of time, its short term thinking. I’d like to encourage you to think differently. To think about the food you eat in a more holistic way, think more about it in terms of a long term approach.

You can change your physiology and your biochemistry and therefore how you feel just by changing the food you eat. It is fact that what you eat drastically affects you’re physiology and biochemistry. How do you feel after you’ve had a piece of cake vs. how do you feel after you’ve had a more nourishing meal like salad with a  high quality source of protein?

What Should You Eat?

  • Eat water rich foods (i.e. fruits and vegetables)- an extensive list so I’ve only included a few examples here:
    • Sweat and white potatoes
    • Bananes
    • Blueberries
    • lettuce
    • kale
    • spinanch
    • etc.
  • Avoid highly processed and refined carbohydrates
    • Sodas
    • Fruit juices 
    • Candies and candy bars 
    • Etc.
  • Avoid industrialized seed oils
    • Corn oil
    • Canola oil
    • Soybean oil 
    • Etc.
  • Eat a high quality and a good source of protein 
    • Meat and organ meats
    • Fish
    • Etc.
